Activities
The main responsibility of the job holder’s:
• To ensure that all the documents are developed and managed in accordance with the Documentation Management System specifications.
• Responsible, within the Drilling and Wells team for storage and maintenance of approved documentation.
• The job holder will also be responsible for bringing an active support to all concerned members of the Drilling and Wells team in the performance of their document-related duties (review and comment of documents, approval process, etc.), and will be the focal point for all matters related to documentation management and control.
• To participate in the implementation of the Documentation Management system, setting-up and explaining rules and procedures, jointly with the Method Engineer and with the help of concerned people in Headquarters.
• To be informed of Company Specifications (GS's/GR's), TEPU and Company procedures, etc. related to Documentation Management and their application to the Project.
• To follow and improve the Documentation Management system.
• To control the conformity of data entered on the Drilling and Wells main databases, using special tools for automatic control (Wellview Audit), commenting on the conformity of documents, and rejecting documents as necessary.
• To provide support (training, daily assistance, advises) in the use of Documentation Management System to the office and rig site team for their document-related duties (review and comment of documents, approval process, etc.) and, as a general manner, to aid the team for all matters related to documentation management activities.
• Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion.
• To keep and archive hard copies of documents as required.

Qualifications And Required Experience
Education:

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Business Management, Information Management Systems.
• Knowledge in QA/QC for data management.

Professional Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Documentation management. Experience within Drilling organizations in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Medium proficiency in the Information, Data & Document Management area. Understanding of Project Technical. Documentation Requirements and Deliverables.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (Office 365 - SharePoint).
• Excellent writing skills, technical documentations, specifications, training materials, presentations, and others.
• Advanced user of MS Office suite of software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Working experience with generating Document Control reports/Statistics

About the Programme
In 2022, the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with BRAC International (BI) will be announcing an initiative that will create a positive and measurable impact for 1.2 million adolescent girls and young women and 9.5 million people across seven countries in East and West Africa, including Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda
There is mounting urgency to support adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) living in poverty, which has been further amplified by the global pandemic. Through this partnership, scalable economic development approaches will be delivered in communities to foster the agency and voice of AGYW. They will have the opportunity to fulfill their aspirations, achieve sustainable livelihoods, and engage in advocacy issues.

Job Title: Senior Research Associate (Re-Advertised) - 01 Position
Job Purpose

S/he will be responsible for designing and implementing research projects, resource mobilization, research protocol, conducting data analysis and reports.

Responsibilities
• Design quantitative research, write research project proposals, development research protocols, and secure Institutional review board (IRB) formalities
• Conduct quantitative data processing, data analysis, and data presentation independently
• Write quality research reports for donor reporting, external communication and peer reviewed publications
• Lead implementation of research projects with & without analytic supports from Pls Make publication and policy briefs for external audience and advocacy
• Manage multiple research projects with proper grant and financial management
• Monitor the progress of the study to ensure protocol compliance with and adherence to the project plan
• Identify, evaluate and rectify problems including working with the internal and external team members to ensure efficient research management. Presentation of the research at appropriate local, regional, national and international meetings and conferences
Safeguarding responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do the same
Educational requirements
Master's Degree in Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, or any other related subject Bachelor degree can be considered only with at least 5 years' of directly relevant experience is demonstrated. Certificate in research methodology - study designs, data analysis is added advantage.

Skills and competencies
• The candidates are encouraged to apply only when s/he can design quantitative evaluation research independently and well-versed in one of the statistical software (like STATA, SPSS, R; don't apply if you use excel as your primary option or other qualitative techniques)
• The position also requires strong capacity to manage the technical, logistical aspects of several research projects.

Key responsibilities;
• Moderate Focus Group Discussions (FGD)
• Conduct face-to-face in-depth interviews
• Assist in development of data collection tools, Interview, FGD guides & SOPs
• Transcribe qualitative data in effectively and promptly
• Conduct community meetings, participant observations and Key informant interviews
• Work with social science and data collection teams to agree on a coding framework
• Participate in analysis of coded data
• Support feedback and discussion sessions with communities
• Adhere to the recruitment strategies, and plans, and work closely with community stakeholders in the recruitment of participants.
• Participate in trial-related community engagement activities
• Provide adequate, accurate trial related information at community engagement activities.
• Write prompt periodic reports on the conduct of trial related engagement activities.
• Work with the CEO, to ease dialogue between stakeholders, participants, and study team
• In tandem with the CEO, address trial communities’ concerns, myths, and misconceptions.
• Collect accurate locator data in accordance with participant preferences.
• Participate actively in trial participant retention strategies.
• Participate in data cleaning, reviewing, entry, and quality control procedures in a timely manner.
• Play a part in all project risk management interventions.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• A degree in Social Work and Administration, Development studies, and any other related fields.
• Previous experience with qualitative data collection methods- FGDs, KIIs, IDIs.
• Experience working on public health/social science projects with good qualitative data analysis.
• Ability to foster linkages, grass root partnerships and collaborations with relevant stakeholders.
• Be sensitive to the norms, values and community perspectives that could impact across the project life.
• Up to date GCP/HSP certification.
• Eloquence in English and Luganda (written and spoken).
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Participatory epidemiological methods such as participatory rural assessment.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Experience working in fishing communities and human subjects’ research is an added advantage.
