Brief description of WFP in Uganda
WFP delivers food assistance in emergencies and work with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. WFP provides life-saving food assistance and livelihood opportunities to refugees in Uganda. In addition, WFP assists the most vulnerable people in Karamoja with food and nutrition assistance. Finally, WFP works with smallholder farmers and links them to markets.
As Uganda strives to achieve Zero Hunger by 2030 and become a middle-income country by 2040, WFP is also assessing its relevance and repositioning its role in Uganda.

Purpose of the position.
The Partnership and Grants Coordinator will support in developing partnerships, identifying funding opportunities, and coordinating the proposal development process and submission. (S)He will be coordinating partnership assessments, updating WCH online platform for grants management, taking a lead in drafting concept notes and proposals and supporting the approval process.

Plan International Uganda is looking for Three Project Officers to manage day to day implementation of the Lego- Playful Futures project interventions in Kamuli, Lira and Nebbi districts working in collaboration with other members of the project team and other project stakeholders (Local government, Primary Schools, NGO partners, Communities). He/she will ensure that the project activities are implemented in a timely and efficient manner in a bid to contribute to improved Early Childhood Development in the communities targeted by the project. He/she will directly implement project supported interventions to achieve the set objectives and targets. He/she will be a member of the Education and ECD team at national level and member of the Program Team at Program Area level.

Dimensions of the Role
• The Project Officers will be primarily responsible for supporting implementation of Playful Futures Project activities in Early Childhood Development Centres, Primary Schools and Alternative Learning Centres and in Homes following an already developed curriculum.

Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Livelihood project officer, the Project Assistant Livelihoods is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the project activities while touch basing with the beneficiaries constantly. SCOPE OF WORK
The Women’s Protection & Empowerment Skilling Officer support will lead skilling intervention at the Protection Houses(Females and Males) while providing extension services to the Women and Girls Safe spaces in the Zones as required by the supervisor. With direct supervision from the WPE manager, the WPE skilling Officer will ensure that the goals and objectives of the projects are met in a timely and effective manner. Specific responsibilities include oversight of skilling program at the Protection houses and occasionally extension technical support to skilling activities at the WGSS in the different Zones within Bidibidi to the Persons of concern.
