10 Days Primates Safari - Great Apes of Uganda Safari

Destination: Uganda
This is one of our special Primate tours. The focus is the eco-tourism activities to encounter primates and Great Lakes of Uganda in particular this itinerary will come close to the chimpanzees of Ngamba Island, Budongo Forest - (the largest rain tropical forest in Uganda with 793SqKms of protected reserve and an estimated number of 800 Chimpanzees), kibale national park and Kyambura gorge. The eco-tourism of the Gorillas will be in Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Another activity is the Ugandan Mangabey (the grey checked mangabey) of Bugoma Forest.

This is one of our primate tours. In 7 days, you will experience the chimpanzee eco-tourism in Kibale National park and the Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National park. The itinerary also includes photographic safari in Queen Elizabeth National park and after the main program we offer optional extensions of a 1 day to Mgahinga National park, Lake Mburo National park or Ngamba Island chimpanzee sanctuary.

4 Days Volcanoes Gorilla Trekking Safari
Destination: Rwanda
Volcanoes National Park is the Rwanda section of the more extended Virunga conservation area shared between Uganda, Rwanda and Congo DRC. It is named after the chain of eight volcanoes which make its territory, including Karisimbi, Mikeno, Muhabura/Muhavura, Visoke, Sabinyo, Gahinga, Nyiragongo and Nyamuragira. This trek offers is packaged in special way that clients are able to choose an activity of their choice and this includes tracking the endangered Golden monkeys, visiting the Dian Fossey Museum the American primatologist whose work has lead to the present conservation of Mountain Gorillas, the Ultimate Mountain Gorilla tracking Experience and an adventurous hike to one the volcanoes.
